Yorkshire is home to a number of timeless, picturesque locations and landmarks. Recently, Drains Aid were called to North Yorkshire, to the 300-year-old stately home, Castle Howard. The historical building required urgent drainage care.
We were instructed to undertake a CCTV investigation which allowed us to gain an understanding of exactly what issues we were dealing with as a team. We discovered the drainage was suffering from root ingress, fat build up, along with damage at various points throughout the system. Once diagnosed, our team of drainage specialists worked together to create a solution best suited for the issues identified.
The solution agreed was twofold. Firstly we would undertake desilting, cleansing and root cut operations. These works needed to be done as efficiently and safely as possible in preparation for the second stage of our solution, installation of two Hot Cure CIPP Liners to prevent further damage, rehabilitate the system and increase the drain’s lifespan by a further 50 years.
Our team of lining specialists completed the installation of 215m x 200mm and 48m x 150mm Hot Cure CIPP Liner’s over a two-day period within the agreed programme constraints.
