Following heavy rainfall in the village of Marton Bridge, North Yorkshire caused by Storm Darragh the village suffered severe flooding over a weekend 7th and 8th December from the nearby river.
Peter Duffy Limited were working in the village on a scheme for Yorkshire Water. When the team arrived on site on the Monday the water had subsided leaving behind a mess of silt and debris.
The team set about assisting the residents with lifting, carrying and the clearing up the mess. who were extremely grateful for the assistance provided by the Duffy team.
