Following the recent success of the Yorkshire Corker, Peter Duffy Limited will be participating in the Selby Three Swans Sportive Charity Bike Ride and will be paying the entry fees for any employees and family members who wish to take part.
The annual event, which raises money for Yorkshire Cancer Research, saw over 1000 riders take to the roads in 2018 and is hoping for even more this year. And you don’t have to be a professional cycler to take part. There will be three routes available on the day, ranging from beginner to advance, so join us on Sunday 1st September for a fun-filled family challenge.
One Swan Route (3 miles) – £21
Two Swan (63 miles) – £26
Three Swan (100 miles) – £31 – view routes & elevation here.
All entry fees go to the Yorkshire Cancer Research to be invested in vital cancer research and community health projects – and PDL are reimbursing this cost for employees and their families. Entry also includes a finisher’s memento, chip timing with immediate results and on route feed stations. You’ll also be able to enjoy food, refreshments and a post cycle massage.
If you would like to take part in the Selby Three Swans Sportive, you will need to enter as an individual and select the route that suites you. Once you have done this, please email h.jennings@peterduffyltd.com and we will log you as a PDL team member and reimburse your entry fee.
Participants of the Yorkshire Corker can re-use their PDL cycling shirts and there are a number of spare shirts available for new riders who wish to wear the company’s team shirt.
