Following a rigorous interview process, DrainsAid is delighted to announce our sales team is expanding. Nick Downward has joined our team in the new role of regional sales executive.
Nick, who previously worked in the surveying services and construction recruitment sales sectors, has joined the company in the newly created position of regional sales executive. The move looks to build on our portfolio of clients in the food manufacturing, utilities and FM sectors across Yorkshire and the North of England.
Jason Monaghan, sales manager at DrainsAid, said:
“Nick brings a wealth of experience that will benefit our growing business and help us to further develop our presence in the North of England. A key strategy in developing our operation has always been to attract high calibre candidates to our Wakefield head office, and following a fairly rigorous interview process I am positive Nick will be a key asset to our firm.”
Nick joins the team having previously spent five years with engineering consultancy, Pell Frischmann Consulting Engineers, whilst studying part time for a HND in civil engineering. He commented:
“I am really pleased to join such a highly respected and reputable company as DrainsAid. It is really exciting to join at such an important time in the company’s growth, and I cannot wait to get started on developing new business and expanding the range of services to new and existing clients.”
Reporting to Sales Manager Jason Monaghan, Nick’s role will be to focus on growing DrainsAid’s customer base and consulting Yorkshire businesses on drainage maintenance and sewer rehabilitation.
Nick will be based from the DrainsAid and Peter Duffy Ltd head office in Wakefield.
