We are pleased to announce that DrainsAid have been shortlisted for two UKSTT awards 2019.
The rehabilitation of Scarborough outfall utilising the innovative Hermes M-Coating Trolley System has been shortlisted for the Environmental Award. Working alongside Yorkshire Water and Amey, we overcame the ever-changing tides and unpredictable British weather to proactively restore the 1800mm sea outfall and prevent deterioration.
The award recognises projects that were undertaken in a sustainable manner to minimise impact on the surrounding environment.But also considers community impact, innovation and project management.
In addition, DrainsAid Engineer Greg Thomson has been shortlisted for the Young Professional award. During his two years at the company, Greg has played an essential role in the planning and execution of numerous large-scale, pipeline renovation projects and is a well-deserved candidate.
The annual awards, recognise achievement, excellence, or innovation utilising trenchless technologies for rehabilitation in the last 2 years. The UKSTT awards 2019 will take place on September 17th at the De Vere Tortworth Court Hotel in Bristol.
