The DrainsAid team attended the annual UKSTT Annual Dinner & Awards Ceremony last month in Birmingham. The UKST (United Kingdom Society for Trenchless Technology) Awards are an annual event, celebrating trenchless projects carried out by the industry.
The 21st UKSTT Annual Dinner & Awards Ceremony was held 24th April 2015 in Birmingham, UK. The event was attended by nearly 170 VIPs and guests with entries into the awards from over 35 companies.
DrainsAid Operations Manager Simon Bull was one of the attendees, along with James Wardman, James Quirke & Malcolm McDonald from Peter Duffy Ltd. The group were proud to represent DrainsAnd and Peter Duffy Ltd, and spent the evening meeting with other industry professionals within the UKSTT.
The awards were presented by Chris Packham, the renowned Naturalist and ‘Spring Watch’ television host and environmentalist.
Simon said: “The team had a great time at the Awards Dinner and it was certainly a treat to see Chris Packham walking around the room with a peregrine falcon! He told us that it was the fastest bird in the world, which was particularly interesting. DrainsAid are looking forward to being involved next year!”
