As part of Peter Duffy Limited’s commitment to health and well-being, we’re digging out the Lycra and joining Yorkshire’s fastest growing charity bike ride.
The event raises money for 3 charities close to our hearts; the Alzheimer’s Society, British Heart Foundation and St Leonard’s Hospice, who care and support for York’s local people with life limiting illnesses.
We are joining the Yorkshire Corker, starting in York, on Sunday 2nd June, and subsidising the entry fee for our employees. But don’t worry if you’re no Chris Froome, there’s a choice of 3 routes ranging from beginner to advanced.
The ‘Half Pint’ beginner route starts at 10am and covers 32 miles to Howsham and back.
The ‘Full Pint’ intermediate route, which will see cyclists ride to Malton and back, starts at 9am and covers a distance of 60 miles.
And for all you advanced riders, the ‘Stein’ route is sure to test your abilities, starting at 8am and covering a massive 95 miles.
